Teachers are sending home class lists this week, please be sure your child has a Valentine for each student in the class.

Learning Goals:

Math Learning Goals for the week
Students will be able to:

1. Demonstrate understanding of place value: ones and tens place.
2. Demonstrate understanding of comparing numbers.
3. Use greater than and less than symbols correctly.
4. Math fact practice.

Reading and Writing Learning Goals for the week
Students will be able to

1. Show understanding of retelling a story in order.
2. Read and spell works with the bossy r (r-controlled) er, ir & ur.
3. Read words that have contractions ‘s, ‘ve & ‘re.
4. Read words that have er and est at the end.
5. Use three complete sentences in writing.
